Water inlet pressure regulator for 86 PT40

Hi everybody - Does anybody know where I could get a replacement for the
pressure regulator at the water inlet for our 1986 PT40? I just need the large
threaded piece with the regulator, but will purchase the whole assembly if I
have to in order to get the part.

Greg,

I just went thru this on my 86. Easiest is to replace the all in one backflow preventor/regulator/water fill with a new identical one. I opted not to do that for two reasons. First, I didn't like it being plastic, that's why they crack and go bad. Second,I like to regulate at the faucet, not after the hose. I found a metal backflow/regulator online at tweetys, with separate brass regulator.
