BLACK WATER TANK REPLACEMENT
Howdy, Y'all.
Tomorrow Jack is driving the Bird up to Pipe Creek, TX to Texas Custom Coach. The black water tank will be replaced finally. Oreo the cat and I will follow a little later in the Jeep. I will take pictures. We will be glad when this project is finished.İmage

BLACK WATER TANK REPLACEMENT

Liz,

Are they building an exact replacement on-site after the coach arrives? How long are you going to be there?

They do nice work based on the jobs I have seen there. Not much to do in Pipe Creek. There is a rather rustic flea market about a mile north of them, and and a fairly nice antiques and notions store with a neat restaurant in the back, about 2-3 miles south of them on 16.

Howdy, Mike.
No, to build an exact replacement would cost $$$$$$$. The replacement
tank is a prefabricated thick walled polyethyene(sp?) tank. It will
probably be smaller than the original. We have had other work done by
Texas Custom Coach: refrigerator, water heater with re-plumbing and the
front air conditioner. Those were all replacement projects. Work is top
notch, the place is very clean and the personnel are polite, friendly
and accommodating. I think that the labor rates are reasonable.

We will be there for 2 days. It is about 1 hour's drive from our rv park
in Dhanis. Food, etc is available in Pipe Creek and down the road in
Bandera.
Thanks for writing,
