jim- even though you can actually remove the tension arm, you must rotate
and with lots of upward pressure move the seat around and eventually, she will
come loose. The seat is best removed by 2 people. Ernie- carpeted a lot of
Bluebirds with the stubborn seats- with a lot of help from bim Burt

I am replacing the carpet in my 82 FC and was wondering if anyone
knows how to get the driver and paassenger seats out. It appears that
you can back off the tension bolt that controls the chair swing,
relased the air and cable socket and lift the chair straight up. I
tryed this and it does not seam to work. Is it neccessary to remove
the 4 bolts thata attach the chair to the swivel section to get the
chairs out?

Jim
