Automatic Awning
Two questions for the group:

1.Has anyone replaced their manual Zip Dee awning with an automatic one? Any
pros or cons?

2.Has anyone used Parliament Coach in Florida to replace the slide room seal?
Mine is leaking on my 2003 LX and I need to get it replaced. Any recommendations
for geting the seal replaced in Florida or south Georgia?

Thanks,

Randy Merrill

I'd read up about the seal on WOG, search on Brady seal before you decide anything.

Thanks,

Markus

Automatic Awning
The previous owner of our coach replaced the Zip Dee patio awning with 2 14' Girards and mounted them to the goat rail. I likethe Girards andbecause of the ease of just pushing a button to run them in or out, I tend to use them more often. The one thingI don't like is thatbecause they are attached to the goat rail, they arenot forwardenough on the coach to provide coverage over the door. I may someday put a shortGarard directly over the top of the door.

Automatic Awning
Rady, Good question on the awning. I have been researching this option. Zip
Dee or Girard is coming out with a new auto awning. When I talked to them about
a month ago they were almost ready. It looked really nice. Parliament replaced
the slide seal in my 01 LXI before I bought it. We have had no issues with it
and I think Johnnie and John are two of the best BB techs around. You might
check with George Morris in Ga.
