Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] New to Wanderlodge, looking for advise re 1987 40'

Hi folks! I am new here and looking for information relative to Wanderlodge in general and in particular the 1987 40' with tag axle advertised at Poulsbo RV in WA. Over the past year I have been looking at everything from truck campers to class C to A gassers and finally narrowed down to a A diesel.



My issue with the current crop of RVs out there is that so many I have looked at have damage due to water intrusion into the walls with signs of showing serious de-lamination. The coaches have all been upper tier, no junk, but older (like me). I like old, sturdy construction and these birds seem to be just that.



Anyway, the one I found in WA has mileage in the low 40K range. Pictures look just great, paint and interior, at least what I can see of it. Dealer says this one will NOT come with a systems check so that makes me wonder a bit. Tires are all in need of replacement.



Biggest problem is that the coach is completely across the country from where I live. Wondering if there are any agencies that will check these out long distance, someone I could trust, before I fly 3000 miles to purchase it. Any information relative to this model would be graciously and appreciatively accepted. Thank You all!
