Does the TV also swing down and how do you get it to swing. Thanks for your help!! I just put a new LCD Flat Screen TV in the front of my 89 WL 36' SP. When you open up the side doors there are some screws that hold the panel on that the TV is in. When you take the screws out the panel comes off & then you can take the TV out. After I had it out I made a bracket to mount the New Flat Screen to the same face panel. It is a 20" Sharp TV & it worked out really well. Can't tell that it wasn't made that way. Hope this helps Don 89 SP 36' & 79 FC 33' for sale Butler, PA [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Upper dash hinges down-- but how? - fred89sp - 09-21-2005 03:14 You do not need to swing the overhead dash down to remove the TV. Pull the interior of the overhead storage areas on either side of the TV. They are held in place by 3 or 4 screws in the forward edge of the bottom of the storage compartment. Once they are out you can see what it takes to liberate the TV. If you are tossing anything that works, let me know, I might be interested. --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "ED GARDELS" wrote: > I am still learning on my new 89wlsp. Thanks for the respone Fred, I havent thrown away anything yet. I did take my antenna dome down and apart. It looks unrepairable to me. I remember you saying that you repaired yours several times and gave up. has any one mounted a multidirectional dome on top of the raising mechanism, to be able to raise it? Upper dash hinges down-- but how? - fred89sp - 09-21-2005 06:25 I have replaced the domes in the past but they are no longer available from Tandy. As far as I am concerned they cannot be repaired. I think someone, possibly Steve Birtles, has a replacement from another manufacturer. --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "ED GARDELS" wrote: > --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "fred89sp" > wrote: > > You do not need to swing the overhead dash down to remove the TV. > > Pull the interior of the overhead storage areas on either side of > the > > TV.
