Problems with the fuel gauge and Engine cooling fan - jim matus - 05-06-2006 14:36

We solved the problem we had with no water flow to the water heater
thanks to Ralph (stuck spool on the drain/fill valve). Now I need help
with a couple more. I removed the fuel sender and installed a new one
(the old one was defective-open circuit)The fuel gauge still reads all
the way to the right even with the new sender(I bench tested the sender
before I installed it) Does anyone know where I should look next as
there must still be an open in the circuit. Also the engine fan stopped
working on the fan override switch(still comes on with temp sw.)When I
flip the switch I get a short hiss and a click but no fan.
