site glass on radiator expansion tank, removable? - ED GARDELS - 05-09-2006 15:22 Is the site glass removable, or has anybody ever cleaned it? Mine is stained a greenish color and wish I new how to cleaqn it.Can you get a clothes hanger with a piece of cloth down the filler neck? It has a collar that I wrench off and the glass and assembly comes out. You do lose the coolant in the reservoir tank unless you siphon it off.
