site glass on radiator expansion tank, removable?

Is the site glass removable, or has anybody ever cleaned it? Mine is
stained a greenish color and wish I new how to cleaqn it.Can you get a
clothes hanger with a piece of cloth down the filler neck? Alsohowfar
above the site glass should you fill the tank(89sp)Cat 3208.

Ed the sight glass in my 94 is removable. It has a collar that I wrench off
and the glass and assembly comes out. You do lose the coolant in the
reservoir tank unless you siphon it off.
