Squirell Cage Fan - Samddurrett@... - 07-29-2006 05:52 I have 2 or 3 12 volt fan motors that came out of the squirell cage fans on the dash AC unit of my bird. I dont know if they are close to what you need or not. Sam Durrett 68 31 FC TN In a message dated 7/29/2006 4:37:19 P.M. Fullenwider - 07-29-2006 08:28 I have often wondered why an old fresh water pump motor could not be adapted for that fan. I have not taken a close look at it but if the shaft is long enough,,,,,,,,, hmm Ralph and Charolette Fullenwider Ralph's RV Solutions, Duncan, Oklahoma http://home.swbell.net/rlf47/index.htm At 04:01 PM 7/29/2006 -0400, you wrote: >Fellows, >I need a squirell cage fan motor for the fan in the engine compartment >Does anyone have one they they can part with. >Howard Truitt >Camilla, Ga. >86 8V92 PT40 > > Squirell Cage Fan - Stephen Birtles - 07-29-2006 08:33 Howard would there be any numbers or makers marks on that little beauty Stephen 77fc35 --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Howard O. Or try to get the part number off of your motor and it may cross to a Grainger part number. These motors are not too costly you may want to replace the whole fan & motor. I am not sure, if you are looking for 12V DC or 110v AC. I used a 110V quiet AC computer fan to circulate air through the bay that houses the Battery Charger. This worked great and kept the new blower a little fureher from the engine heat. If I did this right, here is a link to a photo of the modification. http://i7.tinypic.com/21del2h.jpg Rich D.
