HWH levelers - Gardner Yeaw - 08-23-2006 12:55 I am having a problem with my HWH levelers in my '78 FC. The left front one will lift the coach fine, but slowly drops down. There is no fluid leak, so I assume the valve is not holding properly. Can individual valves be replaced in the 4 lever control module, or does the entire module need to be rebuilt/replaced? HWH has a website, I e-mailed them and they had a technician call me. We chatted and I ordered a new cylinder. $230 ifI remember right. The do not offer repair parts. Itsounds as if that would not be an option for you if the cylinder broke in half. The new cylinder comes complete with O-rings and new interface parts. The new cylinder will include a spring and valve that your old one did not have. It installs in one of the crossover pieces. Ask them to includeextraO-rings asyou may need them when reinstalling.

HWH levelers - Scott Forman - 05-18-2008 03:26 I replaced an entire jack on my old FC with a rebuilt unit from HWH, and I want to say I remember it not costing much more than the $230 mentioned here for the part, might just want to replace the whole unit. It is an easy swap.
