Refilling Battery Cells- Help! - wayhamm - 08-23-2006 13:18 Does anyone have a good method for checking add refilling the coach batteries? On my '99 LX, most of the batterries are mounted on a fixed shelf directly under the charger tray and the only way I have been able to access them is by disconnecting the cables and dragging them out one at a time. Even my previous SOB had a sliding tray. I guess if there is no other alternative, what are recommendations for a permanently installed water system? Thanks in advance. The system replaces the original filler caps on the batterys with valved filler caps that are tied together with plastic tubing. All you have to do to refill all the battery cells to the right level is connect the supplied squeeze bulb to the filler tube and pump in distilled water until the valves all close off. System was a great improvement over manually filling each battery cell. System is available through Cabellas, Bass-Pro and other outlets.
