I then asked my credit union and they refinanced it with a lower interest rate. I wonder if Ronnie Lamb at Bluebird would know? Don't take 30 years. I did that on my 89 when I bought it rather that taking money out of an account that I had that was drawing a little more interest than what I was paying to the bank. I was going to a company that finances motorhomes until they screwed up the paper work. I'm glad they did as I went to my bank & I had the check in less that a week with less interest. If you stretch it out to many years you probably shouldn't buy it. I did mine 5 years The payments were a little high but I just took on what I could handle. Don 89 SP 36' Butler, PA Yea a 30 year loan to pay off a 20 year old camper sounds like a good Idea to me. It will have museum value when its paid for. Lend him the money on his signature! I would think that is the best route. There are plenty of lending institutions that advertise in the FMCA,Good Sam mags regarding financing. Call a dealer I am sure they can help, after all they do it everyday, even folks with questionable credit! If that person has exhausted those resources, you might want to move on to continue finding a "real" buyer for your coach. Frankly, I can not believe it is still on the market! Knowing you are "Pre-qualified" for the money and can write the check when you find the "perfect" coach makes the search more enjoyable. Also, prepayment of loans is not illegal!
