Drawers don't stay shut! - erniecarpet@... - 11-15-2006 09:20 John, I have had the same recurrent problem. They do adjust and it seems to be a trial and error method- aka-drive a little and do an adjustment. Does anyone have a cure? Replace the latches or the striker bar? Or can they be bent or adjusted back to where they will hold? --PirateJohn-- http://www.PirateJohn.com (a/k/a John W. The one on the drawer is diamond shaped and goes inside a roller type locking receptor and locks in when over center. I have also found that both locking pins on the front of the slide must be fully engaged for the slide to lock in. I have spread the diamond piece out some to widen it, hence a tighter lock. I hope this helps. Do not have any idea if yours are the same.
