Perkins fuel injector pump. - Ernest Ekberg - 06-12-2007 12:28 A while ago I posted that mine was leaking. The engine starts, runs, and leaks. I went to a mechanic today and he said there is an inspection port that has allignment marks on it and that if these are aligned with a mark on the housing, I should be able to remove that pump and take it to a rebuild shop. Question: Has any of you done this? I can take anything apart, but if it has to have timing marks alligned- what can I expect or look for?? Thanks to all for this. Ernie-83PT40 in Montana- why should this leak-- only has 6500 hours on the clock??? Perkins fuel injector pump. - erniecarpet@... - 06-12-2007 20:31 Thank you very much, John. I did not realize that was an Allen head bolt in the back of the pump. I , too, have lots of paint on the pump. Can you forward some cash for the rebuild?? VBG!! I will expect this repair to be completed on your injector pump and ready for my inspection when I arrive up there next month :o) JOHN FINN 1982 FC35RB BLUEBIRD WANDERLODGE HOPKINS, SOUTH CAROLINA VISIT THE FINN'S INN EXPRESS REMODELING ADVENTURE AND TECH. It is a very big help. Mike Bulriss 1991 WB40 "Texas Minivan" San Antonio, TX --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Ernest Ekberg" > > A while ago I posted that mine was leaking.
