Outside Storgage Compartment Latch locks - Scott - 10-31-2007 16:29

We have a '83 FC35SB that 3 of the 5 locking cargo compartment latch
locks have given up the ghost, literally. I have done several searches
but have not located an answer of where to locate these little items,
not to mention how to replace the locks. Unless, it cannot be done
with out compleatly replacing the entire latch mechanism. The latch
housing / flange on our's are original and were riveted in.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

So....did you try looking in the Parts Database for "Outside
Compartment Door Latches" for a link to Austin Hardware?

Also, please sign your posts.

Oops... No I did not look under "Outside". I did look through the
data base for "Compartment" "Door" and "Latches" but... There it is
none the less. Thanks so much.

Sorry about the failure to sign. My Noobie light is flashing?
