Help with the warning buzzer in dash........ - t3brian - 08-14-2008 09:04 Hello.... 83 PT40 when I start the engine there is a warning buzzer that is located behind the dash that will not quit..... my front & rear tire pressuer and water level appears to be OK..... what other issues and or system(s) does the warning buzzer sound off for???? Help with the warning buzzer in dash........ - Gregory OConnor - 08-14-2008 09:37 Brian I am sure you mean 'Front and rear air brake tank pressure' and not 'tire pressure'? if you have an aux compressor and it is a pressure gauge hung up, you can try filling the tanks and then letting the tank pressure out mannualy several times and or just draining the tanks manualy ( good once a year practice) are you connected to shore electric? the 94 has a buzzer prompted by the transfer switch reading shore power. Are your jacks up and stowed? Make the the front jacks are all the way "kicked up" and that the rears have retraced fully. I have to use a floor jack to push one of my rear levelers up the last inch or so, if not I will get the buzzer intermittantly. All of my fluids are topped off, oil pressure looks good, suspension pressure in front & back OK, any thoughts about what other systems this buzzer monitors????
