Refir LP and LP Heat Switch - Scott Forman - 11-06-2008 12:31 I have been having sporadic luck getting my refir to work on LP. This evening, I have determined that it appears that it will only work on LP when the "LP Heat" switch on the dash is in the on position. Anyone have any opinion why this would be? One should have nothing to do with the other. If you are still using the original ones, it might be time for some replacements. They don't cost too much and do eventually clog and/or wear out. The LP dash switch is in the off position. The frig. LP works in this off mode. Interesting. On Sun, Nov 9, 2008 at 8:02 PM, Ed Gardels <"egardata@tx.rr.com"> wrote:

Ernie Ekberg 83PT40 Weatherford, Texas Refir LP and LP Heat Switch - pattypape - 11-10-2008 05:53 On our 88 FC, which has many of the same schematics as the PT's. The LP Heat dash switch controls 12 volts to the Suburban Furnaces. So if the thermostats are set to ON and calling for heat the Suburbans will ignite. The Propane detector/ auto propane shut off solenoid, is wired through the Electronic Master. So the Electronics Master switch must be turned "ON", to make the Propane flow. --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Curt Sprenger" > > I just went out to the 'Bird. I thought that both the master LP switch and the gas alarm always had to be on for the LP to work on anything LP. Could PO have modified the frig? I found that if i turned on the stove and got the gas flowing to it, then i was able to get the refer to work on the lp side. Jim Riordan Stuart Fl Curt Sprenger
