Polarity indicator removal/replacement 1980 FC33 - John Churchill - 03-15-2009 06:54 Trying to pull the polarity indicator to cure the GFCI trip problem. Pulled the screws easy enough, but it doesn't want to come out. No rear access as far as I can tell. Managed to destroy the voltmeter on one in my clumsy attempts. Any tips or tricks? Should I just plan on completely replacing them both? I bought one of the Progressive surge protectors w/ indicator and may put the indicator in the same place. There are SO MANY things that you nearly have to destroy to remove.
