AC one leg - artw - 08-09-2010 11:12 Shane, Good to hear from you. The inverter does work from batteries to AC. Futher more, I reconnected the inverter inut AC leg back to the breaker panel (with the inverter AC output still disc.). In that configuration the generator AC leg was not dropped. This gets curiouser and curiouser. I am taking a battery charger with me. Will plug it in when the generator is running. My inverter is located in the middle small closet behind the bed - doesn't get wet or dirty, but I have to remember to leave the closet door open for cooling. This can happen when an A/C compressor tries to start while in the invert mode. Are any of your A/C's powered through the inverter? -Shane --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "artw" > > Shane, > > Good to hear from you. > > The inverter does work from batteries to AC. That would include one of the air conditioners. It took me some time to figure that out as it follows none of the examples in the manuals on how to hook it up. Of course there were no examples availible as to how it was connected. Leave tomorrow for Monterey.
