Compartment door lock latch

the latch that locks the compartment has broken off. This is the
latch that turns with the key. Does anyone know where to get a
replacement, and more importantly, how do you replace it? Seems like
everything is rivited. Thank you.....

When I remove rivits I drill out the center by using a bit that is
slightly larger than the bellybutton side of the rivit. If you have
the parts just weld it
