Have any of you ran into this?
While working on the steep on my 78 Wanderlodge, I spied a small
electrical wire leading under the frount edge of the steps on the
bottom. I pulled on this wire to see where it went and out pop an
Electrical heater strip cord. I don't know if this was a factory item
and don't even know if it works but it was interesting to see this as
it shows how the people at Blue bird would go that extra mile. I guess
it was used to keep ice from forming on the tread of the entrance door.

Jon I think what you pulled out is the safety switch that should be
installed just along the bottom edge of the chassis metal just over
the air step, so that if the step mistakenly activates and starts to
crunch your foot between the step and the chassis metal it will stop
the air and save your foot. Yep those BB engineers were smart alright.
