1988 PT38 Ft. at CW in Pooler Ga.
Fellows,
My brother and I went over to Camping World at Pooler, Ga. to Check out the 88 PT38 listed in RV Trader for $39,900.00.
IMHO it is a basket case. No Blue Box or maintenance records. The oil in the engine and generator was black, black. The engine cranked and smoked heavy for about 15 minutes. After warming up oil pressure showed about 8 lbs. on high idle.We could not crank the generator. We did not road test it. I did not feel safe taking it off the lot. I saw three different brands of tires on passenger side. The inside was very heavily worn.It would take an hour to go through the list of negatives on the bus.I was not interested inthat challenge. I'm sure someone else may find it a challenge worth taking on.
The only positive about the trip was a pleasant day spent with my brother.

And all this time you thought Camping World slipped up.

Paul, the safest advice is to not play but no one ever won who did
not play. a good dealer wont go out of the way to hide the clues to isues too big for the buyer to tackle. Bravo to CampingWorld.
