HELP-----NO FRONT AIR BAGS
SEVERAL DAYS AGO I STARTED THE BUS AND THE FRONT AIR BAGS WOULD NOT
COME UP. SORT OF THOUGHT THAT THE LEVELING VALVE MIGHT BE DIRTY OR
NOT WORKING JUST RIGHT. SO AFTER DRIVING IT UP ON ME RAMPS AND
BLOCKING UP UNDER IT SO IT WAS SAFE TO GET UNDER I PULLED THE VALVE.
ALL THE LINES WERE TIGHT AND IT LOOKED GOOD FROM THE OUTSIDE. THIS
VALVE IS MADE BY NEWAY . THEIR ARE TWO CHAMBERS ON THE VALVE SO I
OPENED THE ONE WITH FOUR SCREWS. UNDER THE COVER IS TWO AIR VALVES
THAT LOOKED OK AND WERE VERY CLEAN. I PUT THE COVER BACK ON AND
OPENED THE OTHER COVER THAT HAS SIX SCREWS IN IT.INSIDE THIS COVER
WAS AND OIL THAT LOOKED LIKE KARO SYRUP. SORT OF THICK AND CLEAR.
THIS SORT OF THREW ME, I WAS NOT LOOKING FOR THIS VALVE TO HAS OIL IN
IT. DOES THIS VALVE INDEED HAVE OIL IN IT OR HAS THIS OIL COME FROM
SOMEWHERE ELSE. I DONT UNDER STAND HOW THE VALVE WORKS WITH THE OIL
IN IT BUT MAYBE SO. PLEASE SOMEONE THAT HAS BEEN HERE WITH THIS
PROBLEM OR HAS SOME KNOWLEDGE PLEASE CHIME IN. IF ITS NOT THE VALVE
WHAT ELSE SHOULD I LOOK FOR.
SURE DO MISS RALPH F.

Ed that sounds like you need a new ride height valve. Costs about 80 bucks, and since you have her on blocks, your 3/4 of the way done.
