This worries me too. You may want to be prepared by carrying machined/drilled aluminum plates and gaskets to seal off the hub area. I wonder if these "caps" are available from some vendor? Stephen, here's a new product line idea. David Brady '02 LXi, NC GARY MINKER wrote:

Just chock the back wheels first and once your hooked up to the tow truck then pull the wheel chocks. You also have to remember to re chock the wheels when you get where your goingbefore youunhook from the tow truck.

Proper way to tow a Wanderlodge
I think what Gary was referring to was what if the bird comes unhooked from the
tow truck? Without a safety in place (as in backed off brakes) nothing will stop it until it hits something. I'm also not sure it would be legal to tow it in this capacity in any state. --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, Wayne Kotila > > Just chock the back wheels first and once your hooked up to the tow truck then pull the wheel chocks. One one each side of axle, and thru the hole the plastic cover was in you can back off the brakes, this way you don't need to air up the system. > Wayne > > > > > ________________________________ > From: jburgessx2 > To: WanderlodgeForum@ yahoogroups. com > Sent: Monday, March 2, 2009 1:23:07 PM > Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Re: Proper way to tow a Wanderlodge > > > Wayne, > > Thanks!
