Fan hitting something
having an issue with the engine fan, we have recently changed all the belts due
to age and since we had a couple of instances where the fan appears to hit
something, we cannont locate what it is hitting, there are just nicks in the fan
blades and are loud noise when this happens. It does not happen during idle,
has anyone had this issue if so what to do.

it sounds like you have a Forward Control. If you would please tell us what coach you have and add your signature it would help narrow down our response.

Motor-mounts?
If they are failing, they can allow the torque to lift one side of the engine relative to the coach.

you can check motormounts by jacking up the engine one side than the other (not
by the pan). biggest reason they go bad is ;they stay saturated with oil from a
leak or ;someone is a pressure washer fanatic.
