| Running/Driving Lights came on while hooked up to shore power
We came home to the smell of burnt electrical inside of the coach and then I noticed that the ground in front of the coach was illuminated. The Running/Driving lights were on. The dash switch was in the off position. I located the fuse in the outside panel, pulled it and they went off. Put it back in and they went back on. I fooled with the dash switch and it seems to work ok. Have the fuse out for now and the smell of burnt electrical is gone. ?????? San Antonio until Christmas | |||

| Running/Driving Lights came on while hooked up to shore power
Hi Ron: That circuit is controlled by a relay and the switch controls the coil of that relay allowing the VDC to pass to the lights. So if the switch is good, (use a meter to know for sure on ohms scale) then the relay is picked up. Now then if the switch is in fact open/off then the wiring smell may be the circuit is made by melted and shorted wire. This makes me wonder what else maybe having a problem in there. The relay is located on the large print in your black case. Start from there Safe travels, Ralph & Charolette Fullenwider '84 FC 35 "Ruff Diamond" Duncan, Oklahoma At 03:48 PM 11/7/2009 +0000, you wrote: >We came home to the smell of burnt electrical inside of the coach and then >I noticed that the ground in front of the coach was illuminated.
