Technical Question??
HELP:::
We are in the process of cooking Mr. Turkey..
How can I use my RayTec infrared thermometer to check the Bird,
tempurature? What temp should the breast be?? (Cookbooks say the
interior should be around 170.

It all depends opn what type of stuffing you are using and the type of
gravy would also have a bearing on the exterior temp

Technical Question??
Jack its the temperature deep inside the breast or at a leg joint
that you need to monitor and I dont believe taking the temperature on
the surface of the bird will help you at all. You use a simple
thermometer with a stem that is inserted in the breast.
