Radiator repair

-I had the same problem and I suggest you do the following. First
make sure that you dont have diesel exhaust bleeding back into the
radiator through a bad head gasket. You can get a leak tester at napa
to check for exhaust gas in the radiator water. I say this because I
kept having problems with the radiator craking at the neck and came to
find out that the bad head gasket was allowing the radiator to get
overpressured. I know the cap relaeases at 7 psi, but it was not meant
to deal with constant over pressure.
On a better note if everthing is ok I would suggest pulling the
radiator laying it on its back and cutting a small piece of thin sheet
metal to fit below the filler neck and soldering it in place. I
suggest this becasue the area below the neck is a wide solder joint
creating a weak spot that I had to have soldered 3 times.
