ZF trans temperature sensor

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me how to locate the transmission temperature sensor
on a 90 sp36? My manuals refer to the zf trans manual but it is not
in the documentation.

The temperature sender should be located just behind the bell housing,
on the upper portion, above the drain plug side of the transmission.

Left side, top, forward as you look at the transmission from the
driveshaft end.
