Sound deadening
Chuck, The two best things I did for myself and my bus were the air
pedestal seats and the insulation of the engine, dog house and the generator compartment. I might suggest too that a lot of the engine noise comes up thru the floor and even from under the dash. I used a double layer of carpet matt and carpet plus the Dupree product where a glue down would be best. I highly recommend the stuff. I also made a carpet cover for over the out side of the dog house. It has the disadvantage of taking up space making it even more challenging to get into the drivers seat but my bus is "quiet". There is a little bit of a learning curve working with the stuff. The glue is somethin else. You better mean it when you strip the protective plastic off and touch it to the place you want it. If you think you can move or slide it once it is in contact even a fraction of an inch you will quickly finding that you can not. So when you go to apply it get it perfectly cut and positioned, go for a trial run with the protective plastic still on and when you peal the plastic off and place it, you better "mean it".
