LXi Front Anti-Sway Bar
Brad, I'd also like to mention that I contacted Ridewell and spoke with their suspension engineer. His thoughts were that the 2.125" dia. bar is too stiff. His recommendation is for a 1 5/8" dia. bar. I'd like to go even lighter than this to a 1.5" dia. bar. Ridewell had no issue with running the bus without an anti-sway bar. Roadmaster will custom make custom anti- sway bars. While you're down at the Bird's Nest, why not have them swap your 2.125" bar for a 1.75" bar. The lighter weight bar comes with simpler vertical links that will bolt right up to your Ridewell suspension. I think you'll notice a difference. David '02 LXi, NC brad barton wrote:

David,
You mean at CCW? The guys working on it now may not even get the work I've ordered done on time. Considering the shop labor rate I pay is $65, I'll probably live with it a while longer. And I'll let you know how the shock re-adjustment worked out. Again, I hope you'll email all this to Jesse at BB. Anyone know of a good RV camp near SimiValley? Brad Barton 00LXiDFW bbartonwx@...

Thanks, Greg. Good resource.
While I'm asking about RV parks... Is Quartzite strictly drycamping..or are there any electrical hookups? I saw the water/dump info from SWBB. Brad Barton 00LXiDFW bbartonwx@... Shed those extra pounds with MSN and The Biggest Loser! Learn more. |

Brad, I have a 1.5" diameter anti-sway bar in the works at Roadmaster. Won't receive it for a few weeks. Roadmaster also confirms that a 2.125" diameter bar is too stiff. They recommended 1.625". With 1.5", I'm compromising handling (slightly) in favor of ride. I'll let you know how it works. David Brady '02 LXi, NC brad barton wrote:
