My side view mirror quit working.

My side view mirror quit working.
The main mirror on my right side view mirror has quit being able to be
adjusted electrically. I can hear the motor(s)run but the mirror does
not move in response to the motor running. The mirror is not
jammed/bound up. I can adjust the mirror manually. It just does not
respond electrically.

Does anyone have a recommendation that I can try? Is there some
safety coupling that disengages? It's not clear to me how to take the
mirror assembly apart. Any thought would be appreciated.

My mirror parts are velcrowed on.(if velcrowed is considered a
participle verb) The convex mirror is easier to pull off. I leaned
the convex part to view the velcrow tape on its back then worked a
hard plastic butter knife between the velcrow parts. The tech
support at the mfg is great I believe it is Ramco 800-321-4819??
