Polarity indicator removal/replacement 1980 FC33
Trying to pull the polarity indicator to cure the GFCI trip problem. Pulled the
screws easy enough, but it doesn't want to come out. No rear access as far as I can tell. Managed to destroy the voltmeter on one in my clumsy attempts. Any tips or tricks? Should I just plan on completely replacing them both? John Churchill 1980 FC33 LARGE MARGE Sanibel, FL |

I had a similar problem and got it out by removing the entire panel but the way
it finally came off, I'm not sure I'd ever get it back in. I bought one of the Progressive surge protectors w/ indicator and may put the indicator in the same place. There are SO MANY things that you nearly have to destroy to remove. Regards, GPSGary 1984FC35SB |
