Pyrometer troubleshooting
Troy, I wonder if you have a bad wire connecting to your sender?

Pyrometer troubleshooting
Any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting a non-working
pyrometer? The guage needle does not move. The guage is a ISSPRO model with both turbo boost and pyrometer in a single 3" guage. The turbo boost works. The motor is a DD8V92 1984 vintage with easy access to the sender. The sender is clean and looks good. Thanks Troy Tikalsky Waconia, MN 1986 Newell 40' |

Pyrometer troubleshooting
Before ordering the part I checked the sender for voltage, two wires 1
yellow no voltage and 1 red no voltage. Shouldn't there be 12 volts to the sender when the ignition is on (motor not running)?
