FC 3208 Fan Bracket Plate

My recently acquired 84 FC35 has had 2 Horton Air Fans and 2 radiators
in as many years (not on my dime). There are no plates (spacers)
between the bolt heads and the fan bracket where the fan bolts to the
front of the engine and I would like to get some of these plates and
install them. Can anyone recall if these plates are simply flat stock
with 2 holes in them or is there more to them?

as mike said,3/16 steel flatbar will work well,but when you drill the
holes they need to be offset just a bit to the side,or you may have to
grind a bevel on one side,the side that goes toward the bearing
casting,you have to make damn sure the flatbar is flat against the
casting when the bolts are tight.

They carry a cat part number, but like emike says they are just flat stock

Thanks. Got them made and put on. Not sure if I got the wrong
Horton fan or if they are made in "one size fits all." The slots
where you bolt the fan to the front of the engine are about 1/2"
wide but the bolts are 3/8". I made some bushings.
