These "Air Fans"
Am I correct in assuming that the Horton fans talked about here are
turned by air pressure rather than by a belt off the engine? Or does the air pressure simply close the clutch to engage the belt drive? Scott Forman 82 FC35RB Memphis |

Air pressure keeps the clutch off so it will default "on" if pressure is lost..
A temp switch controls air signal to the fan clutch. Not complicated but demanding in execution. Is there any easy way to tell, say by crawling under the coach and
looking up, what kind of fan is on the engine? Does the power to make the fan spin come from air pressure or from a
belt like any other fan? --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Mike Hohnstein" <MHOHNSTEIN@...> wrote: > > Air pressure keeps the clutch off so it will default "on" if pressure is lost..
