3208turbo idler pullies

Hello i brought a 1980FC33SB back in may have put on 8,000.miles on it
with no problems.The first owner had a new 250 turbo engine put in the
bus when it was two years old and 22,000 miles I have the paper work
from the cat dealer who did the work.Has anyone had to replace thier
idler pullies?is it hard to to do ? mine are starting to make niose

You can buy the complete idler assy. from Cat(expensive)or you can buy
just the bearings,plug and snap ring from Cat(much cheaper). The
hardest part about rebuilding it is getting the old bearings off the
shaft(hard to hold in press)I had a shop cut them off with a bearing
cutter. Works great after done and saves you about $200.00 compared
