1992 WB40 Spare wire from front to back?
Thanks for the note.
I have it on pin 1 on the 7 pin connector. Aux (battery) is pin 4, and toad brake signal is on pin 2. I am using the center pin to tie into the brake controller in the TOAD to send a signal back to the coach that I will use to illuminate a light on the dash to tell me the TOAD brakes are on. I used 14 gauge for the BATT wire which I will replace with 10 gauge when I get a chance to pick some up and replace it. Some times in life you need a break. You missed all the fun though!

Well as luck would have it, I took the front nose panel off where all the relays and fuses are and I saw two wires that where in convoluted tubing and has a hand written label that said 'run to back' I jumped under the coach out back and sure enough there they where. I ohmed them to verify and sure enough. So some kind sole before me had already done the hard work So I just need to hook it to the controller in the coach now. Also I needed to run 12 volt from the engine batteries to TOAD to charge the battery. I was having a hard time finding a wire in the engine bay that was only hot when the ignition was on so I could put it to a relay so the wire to the toad battery is only hot when the coach ignition was on. Then I looked up and remembered the rear coach ignition box, so I removed the screws and determined that the center post on one side of the front/off/rear switch is hot only when the front or rear ignition switch is on. So I tapped into that and ran it to the relay, so now I have a hot AUX going to the toad only when the ignition is on. --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "mbrund" <mbrund@...> wrote: > > Is there a spare wire that runs from the front to the back of a 1992 > WB40 that I can use for my brake controller? > > I have a US Gear D-Celerator brake system that needs one wire to tell > the system in the toad to apply the brake, and another to keep the > battery charged.
