Calling all satellite genius's
I got this dish and control box free so I have to make it work. It's
a matter of principle. Plus, I'm a cheapskate. I have a DATRON (Cruise)DBS30500 Single LNB Mobile Satellite Television System and a Sony SAT-B50 receiver. I had the Directv guy check it for signal and it stands up and rotates sometimes so I know it works. That leads me back to the control box/receiver. That's all I know at this point. Thanks for your help, Keith 84FC35 --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "williamcharrison" > > -What sattelite system do you have (the equipment not the service)? > > Chuck Harrison > Akron, Ohio > 90SP36 > -- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Keith Strehle" > > > > > Can anyone advise me on how to get a dish going? You may have this but though if not then you could use it.
http://www.martronics.com/_pdf/DBS300x-I...Manual.pdf If the unit is working intermittently, that suggests a lose wiring connection. Not sure what sort of problem your having. Thanks Ralph, I have the manual but I'm starting to suspect the
antenna control cable. I'm going to look for a new one locally so I can get this thing going. If all else fails I'm gonna call in the experts. Ryan, What brand of satellite dish were you referring? I have a similar problem with my KVH Tracvision not locking on the satellite.
