Temp Readings
I was exercising the bird and my water temp was running 190-200 which didn't
concern me but the oil temp was running 290-300 and that concerns me. Altho I haven't checked or changed the oil sending unit yet and I know the guages aren't necessarily accurate as they haven't been calibrated to my knowledge. I had also stopped and cracked & opened the radatior cap without a problem while it was warm so I know the water was OK. I also plan on testing the antifreeze for cooling and ph properties. Any other thoughts b4 I start digging into things? Mark, 80FC35 in PA for awhile --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Sports - Sign up for Fantasy Baseball. Temp Readings
Seems to me I remember something about oil coolers going bad on
3208s, can't remember for sure though (long time ago). I suppose if you were to replace the hoses on the oil cooler anyway, you could check water flow through it. - Jeff Miller http://www.wanderlodge.net http://www.millercoachworks.com --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, Mark Garber wrote: > I was exercising the bird and my water temp was running 190-200 which didn't concern me but the oil temp was running 290-300 and that concerns me.
