Can anyone tell me ...........If my chassie air needs to be re-charged
and it says ester oil on the compressor.......Is it compatable for 134 refrigerant???? .....DAN SAARI 1992 WLWB 40ft. Depere, Wi |

Ester oil can be used for either R12 or R134a but it normally is used in
R134a charged systems. If you have the large red and blue knobs on the compressor fill ports you have R134a in it. you need to put a set of gauges on the compressor and check the pressures to tell if you need to add R134a. If the electric clutch is cycling off and on you still have some refrigerant in it. I converted mine over last fall just before leaving for warmer weather.
