the ever controversial "DASH AIR"
I'm trying to fix the troublesome dash air. Does anyone know if BB
still carries replacement parts for the roof condensor, or maybe a better cheaper source. I need one fan motor and two fan blades (what were they thinking using plastic fan blades). I pulled it last night, haven't tried to clean it yet. Just got home
from work. The shaft spins freely, but won't turn when power up, and makes squealing noise. I will take it apart to see how it looks. I think The filler valves are diffrent sizes, an r12 guage won't fit
on an r134 filler valve. I could be wrong, maybe some can validate this. Not an easy task to identify the type of
refrigerant/oil is in your system. If you think someone may have converted to something else, (and there are lots of options out there, not just 134a), you probably have to go to an A/C shop, and pay them to test it.
