And the plot thickens....

All weekend long I worked on this, running the suspension through at
least 10 cycles of dump/refill, every time the same result of the
front of the coach leaning left.

Last night, I drove the coach down to drop off at the shop that is
changing out my worn airbag (about a 12 mile trip). By the time I
got down there, the suspension had leveled itself out perfectly.

I believe I have a family of gremlins living in my suspension....

One of the rear leveling valves is at fault....my guess. Happened to me
a few months back. First time at the garage the unit leveled so I look
like a dummy...next day I look smarter, the coach leaned while at the
shop. Changed out the valve and problem resolved. The shop manager said
he sees this a couple time a year.

"found the airlines hooked up improperly" That reminds me that our mechanic
found one of our rear leveling valves had been plumbed out of the system.
Apparently the previous owner, whom I know knew nothing about the coach
mechanically, would let just about any RV shop work on it. (I found this to be
true in lots of other areas as well). With only 2 leveling valves, one front
and one rear, he said it was like trying to ride on a balancing beam. Anyway,
not every RV shop or mechanic knows how to figure out the BB systems. I'm very
careful who works on my bird now and I've learned to do much more of the stuff
myself, which is what this forum is all about.

Boy, you can say that again and not limit it to Bluebirds. When I
needed a mechanic for Bluebird systems, I used A - Z bus, a Bluebird
distributor, or George Morris before he went to Bleakley. I have found
that very few "auto mechanics or truck mechanics" know how the various
systems that are used on RVs work or how to figure them out.
