back up camera solenoid or relay or ???
i just changed mine to colour have a good camara fifity bucks call me david 386
804 5619 mine is an 86 pt40 also "Howard O. Truitt" In my 86 PT40 The backup camera has a paper label on the inside casing that says Audiotronics is this a Hitachi brand. At times it will play fine then go blank. I can tap on the case and it will sometimes come back on other times will flash lines across screen. I have moved wiring around running to case with no results so I think it must be internal. Is there some place to get it repaired. Your thoughts please. The tuner is where the relay is located. It is a solder in added to the chassis by PMMI. The back up monitor and tv is a Hitachi CT-911 that PMMI modified. The plug has wires in it and check the pins in the plug. It is where the incoming power goes through and has been a problem in the past. The relay in question is a solid state and rarely has problems.
