Dead Levelers Continued
In my limited experience based on my '85, 1: there are two
solonoids located near the pump. One is dedicated for the HWH pump, the other is dedicated for the Gen set battery. This gen set one is not directly used to power the leveler pump, the main cables may be tied together for a common supply, but they do not work "together" for the leveler system. 2: Still sounds like a bad ground, your symptoms are exactly like i had...of course, there may be other causes...cleaning the lever switches is a excellent step also. 3: Your motor may also just be shot. Here is the real test...may i suggest you use jumper cables to bypass everything and just try to power the motor from the solonoid stud, jumping from say the gen battery as a 12vt source; use a second cable to ensure a good motor mount to ground connection...if when direct connected for a second, it runs, then you have a connection/switch problem somewhere. Good luck... Frank 85FC33 --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Scott Forman" <sforman@...> wrote: > > Thanks to everyone for their input on my dead levelers.
