Toad question
Kerry:
We tow a 2004 Suzuki XL-7 (weight of 3700 lbs. I believe) and we don't notice it at all behind our 82 FC. We have the 3208 na engine with no retarder although I use a Brakebuddy on the Suzuki. We towed it last fall from Toronto to Texas and back with no problems. Best wishes. Brian Johnson 82 FC 35 Ontario davidkerryedwards I haven't pulled a toad with the Bird. I just set up a 1996 Sidekick as a toad. Just under 3000lbs. How much of a difference will I notice pulling a toad of this size? I've got a retarder so I don't think the weight of the toad even without brakes will make a huge difference in braking ability given the relative weights of the two vehicles. How much will I notice the toad when hill climbing?
