Replacing Power Steering Hoses to Steering Box
Remove battery box.
MH ----- Original Message ----- From: Andy Coleman To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com Sent: Wednesday, June 07, 2006 12:27 AM Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Replacing Power Steering Hoses to Steering Box Fellow Wanderlodgers, I'm working to replace all my power steering lines. I've got nearly everything off, except, I have not yet found a good way to remove the lines from the steering box itself. On my 83 FC-35, the steering box is so stuffed between the battery box and frame rail, I can't even see it, nevermind reach it. I went through previous posts and found one that recommended removing the drivers seat, rolling back the carpet, and exposing an access plate on the floor. I tried that - turns out my model does not have a plate above the steering box. Anybody have any experience in this?? There must be an easier way that I'm missing... Bluebird usually has a way that everything can be removed.. Any help is appreciated! Thanks! Andy [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
