Refilling Battery Cells- Help!

Does anyone have a good method for checking add refilling the coach
batteries? On my '99 LX, most of the batterries are mounted on a fixed
shelf directly under the charger tray and the only way I have been
able to access them is by disconnecting the cables and dragging them
out one at a time. Even my previous SOB had a sliding tray. I guess if
there is no other alternative, what are recommendations for a
permanently installed water system? Thanks in advance.
