Entry door jammed....HELP!
Had the same problem but the door latch was NOT locked. The Bargman
entry latch often has a problem with a pin that retains a spring. If the pin is worn out when you pull on the latch nothing happens. I was at a rest area and could not get out of my unit. Kept trying and it finally opened. I removed the latch and installed a machine screw in place of the pin. Bargman makes a kit for the door lock or you can buy a new assembly for about $50.00. If you get in to your unit and it still does not open a few phillips screws will give you access to the innards. Bruce 1988 FC25 |
